Chevrolet finally released more information on the upcoming Trailblazer in May of this year, after months of speculation on what kind of vehicle would bear the classic Trailblazer nameplate. Slotting between the subcompact Trax and compact Equinox, the 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer will make the Chevy small SUV lineup one of the most diverse in the industry.
Taking its name from the popular Trailblazer mid-size SUV that went out of production in 2009, the new Trailblazer takes some styling cues from its predecessor, though it’s been shrunk down, modernized, and made sportier looking. The sleek exterior styling complements the attractive interior, which is all-black and sports red and chrome accents.
Specs are not yet available, but we know that the Trailblazer was designed specifically to be highly customizable. The 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer debut announcement talked about the two-tone roof available on the RS trim that lets drivers choose how they want to stand out on the road.
Chevy also talked about the safety features on the upcoming Trailblazer, including standard driver assist technology like emergency braking and lane keeping assistance, plus available Adaptive Cruise Control and more. The Trailblazer has all the functionality and family-friendly safety of an SUV, plus the convenient size and maneuverability of the ever-growing small SUV segment.
Expect to see the 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer debut at the Purifoy Chevrolet showroom sometime later this year or in early 2020. For all the latest updates on the newest Chevy SUV, call or stop in!
