We might be a bit biased, but we think Colorado is the most beautiful state in the country. There is nothing more spectacular than the majestic Rocky Mountains, no matter the time of year. If you are looking for a great way to spend a sunny day with the top down in your Chevrolet Corvette, we have some scenic drives in Colorado to recommend.
Gold Belt Scenic Byway
This drive will take you past some historic mining towns like Cripple Creek, Florence, Canon City, Victor, and Florissant. The 135-mile route follows historic stagecoach and railroad lines. You can do the drive in just two hours or spend the whole day taking your time to explore.
Golden Loop Historic Parkway
If you really want to test the cornering abilities of your Corvette, take a drive along the historic mining backcountry roads. The gold rush in the 1890s made these roads famous.
Pikes Peak Highway
You can really take on the road with this spectacular drive. It travels up the mountain climbing from 7,400 feet to 14,115 feet at the top. You’ll see crystal clear lakes and amazing scenery the whole way. Make sure you fill up beforehand as there are no gas stations along the way.
