Chevrolet is one of the most popular brands in the automotive industry thanks to its ability to stay at the forefront of innovation. The 2019 model year will be no exception, with three Chevrolet models getting significant design and engineering upgrades in time for their release later this year.
The 2019 Spark will get some modest upgrades, such as new front-end styling that includes chrome accents for a more upscale flair. Standard connectivity software and the option of Low Speed Forward Automatic Braking join its repertoire.
All models of the 2019 Chevrolet Cruze will get a 7-inch touchscreen with the Chevrolet MyLink system in addition to front-end design changes, but other updates depend on the trim level. The LT and Premier will get standard remote start and automatic climate control, while Premier models will have upgraded LED taillights. RS models will offer new black accents on the windows and emblems, in addition to sporty wheel choices. The hatchback variant will also be offered as a LS trim.
The 2019 Malibu will receive the most extensive upgrades out of all three models. It’s also getting a new RS trim level with blacked-out touches, as well as new taillight, a new front-end, and grille. The powertrain options will include a more efficient CVT mated to the Malibu’s turbocharged 1.5L engine. Also, an 8-inch full-color touchscreen will come standard in all models.
